The Anime Neighbourhood

Ryu pulled the skin back a bit, where the deeper parts of the cut where. Then let go.

Envy bit his lip, trying not to make anymore sound.

Ryu eyed him and the cuts carefully. Waiting for something.

The wound slowly started to heal. It was way faster than a human's healing process.

Ryu smirked, just by watching was enough for him. He watched it heal, then, took notes. He then released Envy.

Envy rubbed his arm. Even if it had healed it still hurt.

"You can leave..." Ryu said. "Well, the room." He smiled at his own cruel joke.

Envy left the room quickly, still holding his arm.

Cali was sitting in one of the bedrooms quietly. She had been getting sick lately, most likely from bottled emotions.

Envy went to find her, and when he did, didn't know what to say.

Cali jumped up and hugged him tightly. She had obviously been worried. "Don't leave like that!" She cried.

" I..I'm sorry.. " was all he could bring himself to say.

Cali let go, looking up at him. "What... happened?" She asked, looking at his arm.

" N-N-Nothing.. " he didn't want Cali to find out. That would just worry her more.

Cali tore a piece off her tattered skirt. Wrapping the cloth around his arm, making a make-shift bandage.

" Thanks.. " Envy said quietly.

"Welcome..." Cali said quickly. "Now, say you love me."

" I love you. "

Cali smiled a bit, something she rarely did these days.

Envy managed to smile back just alittle.

Cali sat back on the bed, from fatigue. She was extremely tired from not eating anything, and lack of rest. This was probably bad for the baby.

" Are you okay? " he already knew the answer to that, but it was worth a shot.

"Yeah..." Cali just smiled weakly.

Envy was worried. He really wanted to get her out of this horrid place.

Cali just didn't want this baby to come. She probably would die during the birth.
