The 'Perfect' Neighbourhood

Lan sat up in the bed and put her knees to her chest, resting her arms on top of them. "Hmph."

Edward changed quickly, about to walk out of the room

Lan quickly got up from the bed and took his hand. Intending on following him.

Edward opened the door, only to see his father standing there. Ed stumbled back abit.

" F-Father! I-I didn't think you would get here so early! " he stuttered.

Hohenheim ignored his comment, looking to Lan. " This is clearly not the girl you spoke to me about. I've heard that you've succeeded in getting rid of her, and began courting this woman, who you found off the street. "

" How could you think something like that about your own son? "

" You're younger brother, Alphonse, has done better than you have, Edward.. " Hohenheim shook his head in dissapointment. " Do you know what effect this will have on our family? "

" I shouldn't have to marry someone I do not love! " Edward protested.

" Either way, the other woman was certainly better than this one. She doesn't even dress properly. "

Lan looked down at herself. "I dress fine!" She snapped at the man, not going to just hold her tongue. Not even this once. "And...And... He did not find me off the street!"

" Hmph.. she doesn't even speak formal french, let alone have decent manners.. I'm dissapointed in you. You never once thought of the impact. "

" I.. I'm sorry. I should have known better. But what if she simply becomes what you desire? It doesn't matter who she is, isn't that correct? " Ed nudged her, it was a 'PLEASE! Just go along with it!' nudge.

" I suppose you're right. The next time I come, I expect better from you. "

" Yes, of course father.. " Obiedience was the only way to fix things in the Elric family.

"God damn fucking bastard son of a bitch...." Lan muttered under her breath in Chinese and half French, just looking down at the ground,

Hohenheim walked away after that.

Ed closed the door with a sigh. " If you're going to say things like that, keep it to Chinese! I don't expect you to be one of those perfect french girls! "

Lan made a face and stormed out of the room, he was contradicting himself. And she was just starting to get mad again. She didn't like being told what to do.

Edward just sighed, leaning against the door then sliding down it.

Lan just sat in one of the vacant rooms. Well, she hid in one actually. Trying her to best to find the most far corner of the house and the most isolated spot. She also, got herself lost.

Ed went to the library as usual.

Lan got herself lost. So, even if she wanted to find him, she couldn't. And just gave up.

Ed wasnt even going to go look for her.

Lan couldn't even find her way back that night, and just continued to hide in the room.

Ed was abit worried, not knowing that she had gotten thet mad about it. He just went to bed.

Lan was going to die if she didn't get help. She couldn't take it any more, as she roamed the halls she started to cry. Then, thought about how Hinata had gotten everyone to run, but she couldn't even find anyone to help her.

Ed eventually went looking for her, getting fed up.

Lan just tried to choke the food down. Trying her best not to make faces.

Ed got the feeling that she didn't like it.

" You don't have to eat it.. "

Lan shook her head, taking another bite.

Ed wasn't going to stop her.

Lan finally snapped, putting down the fork. A look off illness on her face.

" Okay, what do you want to eat? "

"Anything but this...' Lan said, making a face.
