Maieve sat there innocently.

((My last post..))

He picked up the phone. "She didn't call?" He asked, mostly to himself.

Maieve knew how much trouble he was going to get in, but didn't really care.

Toby went through his phone a bit, and saw a few missed calls. But it had been opened; because the messages didn't appear on the screen. He looked through his phone calls, then flashes a bitter look at Maieve. Not actually saying a word.

Maieve noticed this. " What? " he asked, looking as innocent as cat possibly could.

Toby said nothing and got up from the bed, leaving the room.

Maieve breathed a sigh of relife

Toby wasn't going to like, hit him. He didn't think that was right. But, he wasn't exactly going to give Maieve attention for awhile.

Maieve tried not to care.

That night, Toby was in his room, doing his homework quietly.

Maieve walked in quietly

Toby didn't even look up from his books, just writing.

Maieve wasn't going to try to get attention, because he already knew the outcome.

Toby just continued with his work until he was finished. At which point, he tried to go to bed.

Maieve wondered how long this whole 'ignoring the kitty' thing was going to last

The next day, Toby awoke and sat up in the bed.

Maieve slept on the floor that night, and was still sleeping there.

Toby got dressed and went downstairs and filled Maieve's bowl. Then, sat at the table quietly.

Maieve awoke later, going downstairs and starting to eat from the bowl

By this time, Toby had just gotten off the phone. Putting it down and going towards the door, shouting at his mom that his was leaving.

Maieve kinda rolled his eyes at hearing this.

Toby was intending on going out with some 'friends' tonight. So, he was gone for quite a few hours.

Oh lordy..

Maieve didn't really care.

Toby came in, or rather, stumbling in the door. Throwing his shoes off and going towards his room. Already discarding his clothing.
