Hehe.. love that name!

Cooro looked up at Hunter in surpise.

((I think that was my last post.. I can't find it on zot.))

Hunter hugged him, puling him close to him. "You seemed really scared of something..." He said gently.

" What're you talking about? I'm not scared.. "

Hunter started to let go of him. "Sorry, you looked pretty freaked..."

" It's okay.. just don't worry about it. "

"Want to go home?" He asked, sticking his hands his pockets.

" If you don't mind. "

Hunter just started to walk to his car, his hand gripped the keys in his pocket.

Cooro just kinda followed him.

Hunter started the car, waiting for Cooro to come in.

Cooro got in the car.

Hunter just drove in silence, not going to brake the silence. He had a rather agitated look on his face and drove rather feircely.

Cooro sunk down in the seat.

Hunter was just getting agitated. Along with the stress of work, he had to deal with housing a fifteen year old in secret. He was constantly in fear. He supposed that, it seemed a little odd to bring Cooro out into the public eye so easily. But a lot of people knew about it, just from hearing Hunter talk at times seemed to signal something with them. The way his voice wavered at times when he talked about his apartment, or what he was doing after work. He was trying hard to keep calm for Cooro. He had a temper, but not a abusive one. hunter just continued to drive, almost ignoring the younger boy.

Cooro remained totally and completely silent. he definately wasn't going to say anything. His senses told him not to.

Hunter just bit his lip. He wanted nothing more than to get wasted. Than to forget all his worries for a bit and just drink.

Cooro didn't want to worry about any of this at the moment, so he chose not to. He was just that kind of person.

Hunter pulled into the apartment and closed the door behind him. Putting the keys in his pocket.

Cooro just kinda stared at the floor. He felt sick to his stomach all of a sudden.

Hunter got out of the car, going to his side door and opening it for Cooro. Waiting for him to step out.

Cooro stepped out of the car.

A large knock was heard at the door, it echoed through the house. A annoying buzzing sound could be heard from the other side of the door. Hunter got up from sitting slowly. A worried look on his face. No-one really came to the door at his apartment. He looked back at Cooro. “If it’s a cop, you need to run.” He warned, going to the doorknob and turned it a bit. Revealing a big man in a blue uniform. Obviously a Police Officer. “Hunter, I presume?” He narrowed his eyes at him.

Cooro's eye widened. He quickly slipped into another part of the house.

Hunter stepped back a bit, looking back to see that Cooro had left before he addressed the officer. "Yes, that would be me." He responded. His voice confident and cocky.

"I've hear reports that you've been bringing a child home with you. Not older than 15." He narrowed his eyes further.

"Well, officer, I happen to have cousins here. They come over from time to time." He explained. "Is that such a crime?"

"No, but Adultery is." He snapped.

Hunter found this funny, seeing as he hadn't even touched Cooro beyond what the boy would most likely do anyway. He wasn't stupid, and put limits. "I don't touch my cousins, if that's what you're getting at." He said sharply. "I'm not that perverted."

"There is no other reason to be housing a young boy of 15." The cop said, glaring at Hunter. "Now, can you explain why you would be? Without saying some lie?"

"Because, my cousins stay over from time to time. I'm not 'housing' them as you so crudely said." Hunter smirked. "Are you going to search my house for some missing Kid? I'm assuming this is what you're here for; some poor kid who's gotten scooped up late at night and molested over and over." Hunter stepped back. "I don't molest kids, it's not my style. I wait for the legal age like any other law abiding citizen. I follow the laws."

"There has been a missing boy. For a few weeks now. Named Cooro Elric. Don't suppose you've ever met him?" The cop questioned.

"Yeah, I did. Once. On a train when the poor kid got dumped by his boyfriend. I tried to comfort him. Thought I'd be nice to the heart-broken kid. You got a problem with that?"

"No, but if you've done anything else-" The cop started.

"And, I haven't. Come back with a Search warrant and I'll prove it to you." Hunter snapped. "I suggest you leave, sir, because you've questioned me. You have my Testimony right here. And, don't think you can fool me into thinking you're not bugged." He was a lot smarter in the Law than anything. I wonder why? "Get that piece of paper that states that you can legally search my place. Otherwise, someone else may be breaking the law."

Cooro had heard most of this from where he was, and was rather impressed. He never knew that Hunter knew so much about the law.
