The 'Perfect' Neighbourhood

And we skip..

Lan went to bed that night, and avoided hugging him and snuggling and such. Just sleeping.

Ed of course, took it the wrong way. He just went to bed.

Lan awoke the next morning with a stretch, sitting up in the bed.

Ed didn't even bother getting up that day. He was too damn tired.

Lan gently sat beside him, hugging him tightly and nuzzling his neck.

Edward hugged her back.

"This is alot to take, isn't it?" Lan asked.

Ed kissed her cheek. " I can handle it.. "

Lan smiled at him weakly. "Ok." She said in trust.

He started to let go slowly.

"Don't go..." Lan begged, putting her arms tighter.

" Okay, I won't.. " he said, hugging her once again.

Lan smiled and buried her face in his chest, closing her eyes once again.

Ed didn't intend on moving. He really didn't want to at the moment.

Lan was just grateful that it wasn't awkward anymore.

Yeah. Ed had pretty much lost some of his snobby tight-ass ways.

Lan just fell asleep in his arms, humming in her sleep.

Ed held her still, looking down at her.

Lan wasn't going to wake anytime soon. That part was fairly obvious.

There was a startling knock at the door. A maid answered the door and looked at the man. "Master Honenheim, W-Welcome..."

Honenheim just handed her his cape and hat. "Inform my Son that I've come..." He ordered, before walking up the stairs anyway.

And, Ed had no idea whatsoever what was to come.

Honenheim merely walked into the bedroom, looking at the two. "Well, you've sunk so low as to hire someone?" He laughed coldly.

Ed looked at his father, rather shocked. " ..!? Father.. I-I.. No that isn't the case.. "

The head maid walked into the room. " I was told that you needed assistance in becoming a proper lady. " she stated.
