Lan was just going to continue getting dressed ignoring him. It hurt her a little to know that he had no plans on marrying her, to make it official. But didn't say a thing.

Lan felt like crying, but just wasn't one of those girls. She just backed off after a bit.

Ed left the room without another word. He had alot of things to think about.

Lan went into the Library and tried to find some books in Chinese instead of French.

And that's where Ed went. He had a horde of books on the desk, and had just began reading one of them.

There were books in almost every language back there, so there was undoubtably Chinese.

Lan didn't even say anything to him, and just took a books and sat in one of the rows of books. More or less hiding.

Ed had finished reading most of the books. He stood up, going to leave the room.

Lan was about to stop him, but decided not to. She really was starting to think she didn't know how to give him affection. Because anything she did seemed to make him uncomfortable.

Ed just walked out. He was a very difficult guy to deal with especially when it came to affection.
